Halal and Haram

Halal and Haram

Islam has given is the correct regulations about halal and haram. Islam prohibit certain things and permit certain things. Those that are prohibited are known as haram and which are permitted in Islam is known as halal.
We should leave out the haram things and do only the Halal things. Allah (SWT) loved the people who stay away of  sins (haram)  Allah (SWT) has created all things in. In this world before he created man in order to test man. As Muslims we must always keep our self away from haram.

“Verily Allah has prescribed proficiency in all things. Thus, if you kill, kill well; and if you slaughter, slaughter well. Let each one of you sharpen his blade and let him spare suffering to the animal he slaughters.” (Muslim)

Few things which are haram (Forbidden)  in Islam

1. With regard to food - example are poke, dead bodies, blood, things those that  are injurious to health. Those that are intoxicating, eating on gold and silver plates.

2. With regard to clothes-silk garments for men gold jewelry for men wearing any clothes that are contrary to the rules of shariah.

3. Earning -taking interest (usury) and engaging in Haram transactions.

4. Not following the rules of ajnabi and mahrami.

We should always keep ourselves from these bad habits which belongs to haram and only do what Allah and his messenger has commanded.

Allah says in the Holy Quran: “He hath forbidden you only carrion, and blood, and swineflesh, and that which hath been immolated to (the name of) any other than Allah. But he who is driven by necessity, neither craving nor transgressing, it is no sin for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Quran, 2:173)

The holy Quran and Sunnah Advise us in many ways on the importance of avoiding Haram things . It says do not get close to haram things, do not do it, stay clear from it do not follow those things that are haram. May the almighty allah give us the understanding about halal and haram and lead us to a righteous life following quran and sunnah.. Aameen...
