ISLAMIC NAME ISRAFIL FOR ADIDAS NEW SHOE
I'm not sure what to say to be honest. Like why? What is the need to do this? What's your thoughts on this?
I can't imagine anything else that's named Israfil for them to have any excuses. It's just completely disrespectful. Imagine if this had Allah's name or Muhammad (peace be upon him) or any of the Sahaba's name on it. We would be outraged wouldn't we?
One of the duas that the Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) would say is:
'O Allah, Lord of Jibreel, Mikail and Israfil, Creator of the Heaven and Earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You are the Judge of the matters in which Your slaves differ; guide me with regard to disputed matters of truth by Your permission, for You guide whoever You want to the straight path" (Muslim)
"And (remember) the Day on which the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the Heavens and all who are on the Earth, will be terrified except him whom Allah will (exempt). And all shall come to Him, humbled" (al-Naml 27:87).
If you want to make a change spam the @adidas and @adidasoriginals pages and demand that they change the name of these Yeezy Boots from Israfil to something else.
