NATIONAL AUTHORITY FOR THE PROTECTION OF VICTIMS AND WITNESSES TO CRIME

Applications are invited from applicants who have met the following qualifications approved by the Department of Management Services to be added to the vacancies in the National Authority for the Protection of Victims and Witnesses for Crimes created to assist witnesses and enforce the Protection of Victims of 05 Crimes in 2015.
01.DIRECTOR GENERAL HM 2-3 (01 post)
ELIGIBILITY AND EXPERIENCE
EXTERNAL APPLICANTS
(A) Must have a bachelor's degree in law, criminal or law enforcement approved by the University Grants Commission or be an Advocate of the High Court. OR,
(B) Must have a bachelor's degree (criminology) in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Criminal Law, or any other subject recognized by the University Grants Commission, or a bachelor's degree in public administration or a bachelor's degree in business administration. OR,
Must have at least twenty (20) years of experience (at least 5 years in the 'Senior Management Level' (HM Series) in 'Management Level' positions in Government, Public Corporation, Board of Trustees or any NGO or business entity after graduation.
INTERNAL APPLICANTS
Should have completed at least 5 years of satisfactory service in the field in a position as Senior Manager Service in the Company (in HM Series). AND,
Sustained ability to effectively manage human and other resources as well as provide leadership to groups engaged in a variety of activities.
SALARY:
HM 2-3 Rs. 98,215 - 12×2,700 - 130,615

02. DIRECTOR (Security) HM 1-3 (01 post)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EXTERNAL APPLICANTS
(A) Special Degree in Law, Criminology or Sociology recognized by the University Grants Commission. AS WELL AS,
Must have a postgraduate degree in a subject for a position approved by the University Grants Commission. AND,
Should have at least 15 years of experience in the relevant field in the 'Public Management Level' at the Public Corporation, Board of Directors or any recognized private sector institution after obtaining the first Graduate Qualification. OR,
(B) Must have a degree recognized by the University Grants Commission. AS WELL AS,
To be a police officer not below the rank of Senior Police Officer in the Sri Lanka Police Service.
INTERNAL APPLICANTS: (01 or 02 below)
01. Should have fulfilled the qualifications for the above external applicants for this post.
02. Should have completed a satisfactory service period of at least 05 years in a subject in a Grade 1 post in the Management Service (MM) category.

03. LEGAL OFFICER (01 post)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

(A) Must be a High Court Advocate and have at least one (01) year experience in the legal profession.

To be a police officer holding the rank of Inspector of Police in the Sri Lanka Police Service.

06. MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT MA1-1 (04 post)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

(A) General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination
1 Sinhala/Tamil
2. Mathematics
3. English language
Should have passed six (06) subjects in one session with proficiency in four (04) subjects including.
(B) Must have passed at least three subjects (except Ordinary General Examination) in the GCE (Advanced) Examination;
INTERNAL APPLICANTS:
(A) Initial Grade - Unqualified, Half Skilled and Skilled Service Employees with the qualifications mentioned in "B", "C ", "D". as follows
(B) General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination
1. Sinhala/Tamil
2. Mathematics
3. English language
Concentration in six (06) subjects in one session with proficiency in four (04) subjects including. AND,
Preparation of Computer Data Tertiary Level and Courses approved by the Vocational Education Commission,
(C) Must hold a permanent appointment in the service and have a permanent appointment in the appointments.
(D) In the permanent post close to the date, the above persons should have completed 05 years of satisfactory service period.
SALARY:
MA 1-1 Rs. 27,910 - 10×500 - 7×350 - 4×495 - 20×660 - Rs. 48,540.
AGE:

CONDITIONS
01. STRUCTURED INTERVIEW -
Interviews will be conducted by the Interview Board appointed by the Appointing Officer. A minimum of twice the number of vacancies in the recipients will be invited for interview. Those who get extra points are eligible.
The awarding of points in the structured interview will be as follows.
Experience - 30 points
Higher Educational Professional Qualifications - 30 points
Other Activities and Skills - 15 points
Activities in the interview - 25 points
Total number of points - 100 points
