DUA (PRAYER) IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON OF A BELIEVER. IT CAN CHANGE FATE, WHILE NO ACTION OF OURS EVER DO.
There was a doctor that visited him from Pakistan and told him the story that happened to him.
The doctor who was speaking is a top Neurologist and one of the top doctors in Pakistan that was very hard to meet and perhaps you would need to wait for months for him before making an appointment.
So this doctor was flying from one city to another and suddenly the clouds built up, striking and lots of turbulence.
Unfortunately one of the engines was struck in the airplane and they were force to land in a remote area and the aircraft couldn't be fixed.
The doctor asked the pilot how long it was going to take and the pilot assured him that it was going to take a while.
The doctor decided to go by a vehicle which will take around 3 hours drive.
So he decided to go by a taxi and again the weather changed, it started to rain and hail and eventually the vehicle couldn't move forward due to the mud.
The doctor realised that he wasn't going to get to the city and they had stopped in a farm area so they saw a little house and decided to go there and perform their Salah (Prayer) and maybe have a meal.
They knocked the door in this strange house, out in the woods and isolated and the doctor brought his little bag and everything else and walks in.
An old lady happens to answer the door after a while and they explained everything to her.
She welcomed them in and gave them the little sajada (Praying Place) and she had a little child on the side and every little while she would check on him.
Then they thanked the old lady and asked her what is wrong that child.
The old lady then told them he was an orphan and very sick and they have been to all the doctors around and subhan'Allah (Glory to God) she was his grandmother.
She went on explaining that she has been told that there is only one specialist around who can help the child and they tried to make an appointment but it was in 6 months and a far away place so she made Dua (Praying) everyday.
So the doctor asked her what's the name of the specialist and the old lady said "doctor Ishan" and immediately the doctors burst into tears and she asked him why are you crying.
He replied, for your Dua (Praying) THE THUNDER CAME, THE LIGHTNING CAME, THE ENGINE STRUCK. because I am the doctor.
