Breaking News of Ground Operation in Rafah

All eyes on, and prayers for, Rafah. I’ve never felt so helpless, so angry, and so afraid for the people on the ground.

I have no more words. So I’ll share those of Mahmoud Darwish:

“Enemies might triumph over Gaza (the storming sea might triumph over an island. . . they might chop down all its trees).

They might break its bones.

They might implant tanks on the insides of its children and women. They might throw it into the sea, sand, or blood.

But it will not repeat lies and say “
Yes” to invaders.

It will continue to explode.

It is neither death, nor suicide. It is Gaza’s way of declaring that it deserves to live.

It will continue to explode.

It is neither death, nor suicide. It is Gaza’s way of declaring that it deserves to live.”

Words: Mahmoud Darwish

Breaking News of Ground Operation in Rafah.

Israel is telling people already driven out of their homes under bombs and starvation that they need to somehow find safety and evacuate. Where are they supposed to go? They’ve found no refuge from American funded weaponry that slaughters them at every corner.

Netanyahu is escalating this genocide in order to sabotage any ceasefire deal, avoid removal, satisfy the thirst for more savagery, distract from a looming ICC arrest warrant and growing global opposition. He also just shut down the main media outlet covering his war crimes.

ALL EYES ON RAFAH: Ahead of its planned invasion, Israel is driving out over 100,000 of the 1.5 million Palestinians in Rafah and forcing them into the tiny area of Al-Masawi. Israel says that’s a
safe zone – but Rafah was supposedly the "safe zone" Israel has forced Palestinians to flee to for months.

Palestinian testimony and media investigations both confirm that Israel bombs areas it tells Palestinians are safe. In fact, Israel bombed Rafah today, after ordering Palestinians to flee – killing at least 26 Palestinians, including 11 children.

Nowhere in Gaza is safe from Israel’s genocide. Keep all eyes on Rafah as Israel prepares to escalate its mass violence against Palestinians. This genocide must end now.

May his plans backfire and the innocent be protected.

Breaking🚨 Israel does not agree to "far-reaching" terms in ceasefire agreement accepted by Ham*s.

More TBD.
This is a fluid situation, but signs point toward a full Israeli rejection. They are not good faith actors.

Reuters reports: ceasefire proposal that was agreed to by Hamas includes ‘far-reaching’ terms that Israel rejects.

From Spectator Index: “Israel’s National Security Minister Ben Gvir calls for an order to occupy Rafah after Hamas accepted Egyptian-Qatari ceasefire proposal, which he calls a ‘trick’
