WHATSAPP vs SIGNAL vs TELEGRAM: What are the highlights?

WHATSAPP vs SIGNAL vs TELEGRAM: What are the highlights?

WhatsApp Privacy Policy and Signal have been the talk of the world for the past 2 days.

The reason for this is a single tweet by Ellen Musk, the president of the world famous Tesla company. He posted a single tweet yesterday called ‘use signal’.

Since the few hours he has been posting, there has been a growing demand for WhatsApp to step aside and use signal and telegram processors.

Similarly, some other important personalities have suggested using Signal or Telegram applications.

So in the last two days a lot of WhatsApp users have been downloading the Signal and Telegram app.

SO WHAT IS IN THE NEW PRIVACY POLICY?

WhatsApp has issued a new policy requiring users to agree to share information with Facebook.

The WhatsApp account will be deleted if users do not approve it.

By approving this, all the information including your mobile number, service related information, mobile device information, IP address will be stored beyond WhatsApp and transferred to Facebook.

This means that only your personal messages are likely to be in private.

All this information will be stored in encrypted format as before. WhatsApp will also monitor the messages you forward.

WHY SWITCH TO SIGNAL AND TELEGRAM PROCESSOR?

WhatsApp uses the same end-to-end encryption protocol as the Signal app.

For example all the features used in the WhatsApp are in the signal and telegram processor. But then it can be said that there are more security features in the signal processor than in the WhatsApp.

SIGNAL:

Like WhatsApp, it has media sharing, voice call and video calling.

This processor collects basic user data but does not store location information or phone information like WhatsApp.

TELEGRAM:

Like WhatsApp, it has media sharing and voice call facility. Although it has video call facility, group video call facility has not been introduced yet.

It also collects basic data of users like WhatsApp but does not collect location information and phone information like WhatsApp.

Over the past two days, a large number of WhatsApp users have been downloading the Signal and Telegram app.

Due to this, it is said that the server systems themselves stumbled and took extra time to create the verification line to be sent to the new users.
