REGARDING THE BAN ON MY SHOWS ON SRI LANKAN RADIO, ASH SHEIKH FALEEL
Following the news of the suspension of my programs on the Sri Lanka Radio Muslim Service, many called and inquired about its authenticity. I was compelled to post this for that.
All of my shows stopped about three months ago.
The management had announced that it would be a great inconvenience to them as many phone calls were coming to the management of the Broadcasting Corporation demanding that I not be allowed to perform. It added that it had decided it was best to suspend the event on the grounds that it could harm the reputation of the corporation and myself. I also don’t want to embarrass the corporation. So, the show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes.
My heartfelt thanks go out to the corporation and all of the announcers and producers who have helped run the show so far.
All praise be to Allah who by the grace of Allah has given us the knowledge and energy to conduct programs in the Muslim service since 1988. I sincerely pray for all those who have listened to the show. I hope their prayers will always be for me.

It is my hope that the audience will have benefited from programs like Doubt and Clarity, Thought Forum, Forum, Majlisush Shura.
It is well known that so far, priority has been given to programs that build inter-ethnic harmony and topics that discuss the fundamental issues of the Muslim community and regulate the community.
The main objectives of the program were to deepen the seeds of patriotic, peaceful coexistence and ethnocentrism, to protect society from extremism, terrorism and extremism in the name of Islam.
May Allah protect our country from all forms of extremism and bless all to live with mutual understanding!
